Rumberger, Kirk & Caldwell is a firm of 85 trial attorneys representing clients throughout the United States. While our primary emphasis is on the Southeast with offices in Orlando, Miami, Tampa, Tallahassee and Birmingham, our practice is national in scope. We handle a variety of legal matters confronting the modern business but our primary focus is on commercial litigation and the defense of civil lawsuits.
In the beginning, we built our reputation in the area of product liability defense which remains a core practice today. But over the last thirty years, Rumberger, Kirk & Caldwell has diversified into labor and employment law, construction litigation, the defense of toxic tort cases, professional and medical malpractice defense, insurance coverage litigation, and governmental and administrative law. Even more recently, we have developed IP litigation and commercial foreclosure litigation practices, among others.
We are always vigilant for opportunities to resolve a case short of trial litigation when it can be done on terms favorable to our client. Some cases however, cannot or should not, be settled.
