Rev 473 (Summer 2012). The article examines the ongoing problem of jurors using the Internet during voir dire, trial, and during deliberations to either conduct research or comment about the proceedings via social networking websites. The article looks to answer whether a burden upon defense counsel exists to monitor jurors during a trial and if counsel is ineffective for failing to do so.
Prior to attending law school, Patrick worked on Capitol Hill as a legislative staff member to United States Senator George V. Voinovich.
