Greg Palmer Achieves Board Certification in Civil Trial Law by The Florida Bar

MIAMI, FL, June 20, 2017 –Greg Palmer has successfully achieved Board Certification in Civil Trial Law by the Florida Bar. Palmer, who practices in the areas of commercial litigation, general aviation litigation, construction defect and the defense of employers in disputes arising from the employment relationship, joins an elite group of lawyers who have taken extra steps to have their competence and experience evaluated. Only 7 percent of eligible Florida Bar members, approximately 4,800 lawyers, are board certified.

Board certification recognizes attorneys’ special knowledge, skills and proficiency in various areas of law and professionalism and ethics in practice. Board certified lawyers are evaluated for professionalism and tested for expertise. Certification is The Florida Bar’s highest level of evaluation of the competency and experience of attorneys in the 26 areas of law approved for certification by the Supreme Court of Florida.

Palmer earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from DePauw University. He is a graduate of University of Florida College of Law and is licensed to practice in Florida. Palmer has been involved in dozens of jury trials throughout Florida and the Southeastern United States, in both state and federal court. He is a member of The Florida Bar, Broward County Bar Association, Dade County Bar Association, American Bar Association, Diversity Law Institute, The Trial Law Institute and a Fellow, Litigation Counsel of America, The Trial Lawyer Honorary Society and the The National Transportation Safety Board Bar Association.
