Jennifer A. Soberal
Jennifer Soberal focuses her practice in the areas of casualty and product liability. She has experience defending companies of all sizes in general liability and complex commercial matters in both federal and state courts.
Prior to joining RumbergerKirk, Jennifer served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Dave Lee Brannon, U.S. Magistrate Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Her work at the District Court encompassed a wide range of matters including employment law, commercial litigation, personal injury, RICO, ADA, civil rights, products liability, trademark infringement, insurance coverage, admiralty, habeas corpus petitions, and appeals of Social Security Administration decisions.
During law school, Jennifer served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Elizabeth A. Kovachevich, U.S. District Judge for the Middle District of Florida, and the Honorable Jonathan Goodman, U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of Florida. She also interned at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of Florida where she worked in the Civil Division.
Jennifer has served as an attorney ad litem for Crossroads for Florida Kids, Inc. and was recognized by the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Committee for her pro bono service.
