RumbergerKirk’s Carlie Duquette Earns Certified E-Discovery Specialist Credential

Carlie Duquette, a Florida Registered Paralegal in RumbergerKirk’s Tallahassee office, has earned the Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS) credential, joining a select group of professionals worldwide who hold the designation.
The CEDS certification, administered by the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS), requires passing a rigorous four-hour exam that measures broad-based knowledge in e-discovery. Since the program began in 2010, professionals in more than 20 countries have achieved the credential, representing roles including lawyers, litigation support staff, IT specialists, paralegals and consultants.
The certification assures employers, colleagues and clients that a CEDS designee is committed to efficiency, cost-effectiveness and risk reduction in all phases of e-discovery. As an ACEDS member, Carlie will continue to benefit from ongoing training, webinars and industry resources designed to support excellence in e-discovery.
Carlie is a Central Florida native and proud alumna of Florida State University where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. With over 25 years of experience in the legal field, Carlie has held a variety of roles. She has grown from a runner and file clerk to an experienced paralegal. Carlie has been a valued RumbergerKirk team member for 14 years.
