Erica Clements has a broad practice encompassing casualty litigation, employment law, and insurance coverage and bad faith, representing both private and public entities.
In her litigation practice, Erica represents clients in personal injury and premises liability matters. She also advises employers on compliance with state and federal employment laws, and defends against claims involving discrimination, retaliation, harassment, whistleblower actions, and wrongful termination. In addition, Erica represents insurers in first and third party coverage disputes, including matters involving personal and commercial lines, construction defects, extra-contractual liability, and bad faith claims.
While a law student at the University of Florida, Erica worked as a clinician for the Environmental and Community Development Clinic where she reviewed, edited, and organized existing regulations to improve cohesion, legibility, and standardization for an agency of the Florida government. She also worked as a Research Assistant to Professor Amy Stein.
Erica participated in the RumbergerKirk Summer Associate Program in 2024. She won the Summer Associate Writing Competition and the “Best Team” honor for the mock trial competition.
