Rumberger Selected Law Firm of Year by Diverse Bar Association Paul C. Perkins


The Paul C. Perkins Bar Association recently hosted it's Seventh Annual Scholarship Luncheon & Awards event at which Rumberger, Kirk & Caldwell was given the "Law Firm of the Year" award.  The "Law Firm of the Year" award honors a local law firm that has shown exemplary commitment and service  to the Paul C. Perkins Bar Association and its mission.    

PCPA consists of lawyers and law students that support the association’s goals of addressing the issues affecting the African American community. The association believes that the involvement of the legal community with the general public is essential to the betterment of the ethical standards of the profession and therefore, they conduct various community events.

Additionally, one of Rumberger’s founding partners, Bud Kirk. was also recognized for actively soliciting firms to contribute to the PCPA scholarships in which he was responsible for more than 50 percent of the funds raised.  RKC partner LaShawnda Jackson also received recognition in way of an award for her assistance to the President of PCPA.
