Thomas C. “Tom” Webb focuses his practice on commercial litigation, appeals, employment and labor matters, construction disputes, and personal injury and casualty litigation, with an industry focus on insurance.

Tom assists clients with commercial disputes and appeals. His experience includes drafting appellate briefs and dispositive motions, including motions for summary judgment and motions to dismiss, conducting legal research, and arguing motions at hearings.

He also handles employment and personal injury matters, with experience in motion practice, discovery, case management, and communications with clients and opposing counsel.

His construction and casualty work includes disputes involving construction defects, construction accidents, and alleged traumatic brain injuries. His experience also encompasses product liability and insurance matters, including discovery and depositions.

Before entering private practice, Tom served as a judicial intern to Judge Jose E. Martinez of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, researching legal issues and preparing proposed orders in civil and criminal matters.

Tom earned his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law, where he served as editor-in-chief of the University of Miami Business Law Review and vice president of advanced appellate advocacy for the Charles C. Papy, Jr. Moot Court Board. He was inducted into the Order of Barristers and completed more than 500 pro bono hours during law school.

Before law school, Tom worked in nonprofit program management and fundraising, managing grants and educational programs for the Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools and serving as grants manager for the Orlando Science Center.
