Week 10

We are finally in the homestretch of our summer. Sunday, we went from Miami to Orlando to prepare for the mock trial. We all met at the Orlando office to practice for a few hours and tie up any loose ends.

I was surprised with how much fun I had!

The next day, Monday, was mock trial day! We arrived at the Orange County Courthouse in our suits, and we were ready to go. The mock trial itself was great. I really surprised myself with how much fun I had. It was my first time ever doing a mock trial, and it was awesome to see all our hard work throughout the summer come to fruition at the end. It felt like all the workshops and seminars we attended throughout the summer led up to this moment.

After the trial, we headed back over to the Orlando office to attend happy hour and celebrate. All the Orlando office attorneys were there, and it was great to see familiar faces from orientation. After happy hour, we all headed to dinner at Sixty Vines and had the best time.

Serena and I headed back to Miami on Tuesday and are wrapping up our final week. Overall, what an amazing summer! I learned so much and truly think I will be a better attorney because of it.
