Week 8
Beginners luck! I won first place!

Week eight week went by so fast! We have officially started our mock trial prep. I am extremely nervous about the mock trial, but I can say that I feel more prepared now that we have done all our workshops and training.

On Wednesday, Serena and I went to watch a trial in federal court. We had so much fun. This was the first trial I had ever attended in person, and I am so glad I went. It was helpful to see what it is like in an actual court room, and watching made me even more excited for our own mock trial.

Thursday the Miami Office went to Puttshack to play mini golf. It was so nice to see all the attorneys together outside of the office. Surprisingly, I won mini golf! I shot three hole-in-one’s. It was my first time ever playing mini golf, but no one believes me.

Friday, we continued to practice for the mock trial and then the weekend came! Overall, it was such an exciting and eventful week. I cannot believe we only have a couple of weeks left until we go back to school.
