Frank Sheppard was part of Invest Orlando‘s 2022 edition as one of the attorneys interviewed for the “Legal Landscape” feature. With the industry in a state of flux, legal leaders discuss how they are embracing their industry’s current reality.

Sheppard discussed strategies the firm has implemented to attract, recruit and retain talent. “We’ve been recruiting in a very competitive market and have increased our compensation in response to inflation and the labor shortage,” he said.

He also explained that while the firm provides a generous benefits package, it also is focused on building connectivity among the attorneys and other employees to nurture the firm’s strong culture. “When people have the opportunity to interact and build relationships with one another, it encourages them to stay.”
