RumbergerKirk partners Gigi Cordova and Melissa Softness participated in a Pincus Professional Education webinar, “Mastering Discovery: The Nuts and Bolts.” The two-part webinar covered tips from experienced attorneys offering insights on the strategies and skills needed to master Discovery and e-Discovery, which are the essential components to building your case – for trial or settlement.
Both Melissa and Gigi participated during the second day of the two-part webinar on March 7, 2024.
Gigi’s one-hour presentation covered “Discovery Motions,” including motions to compel, motions for protective orders, motions of sanctions, etc. She also discussed meet and confer requirements. Her co-presenter was Stephanie Casey, a Partner at Colson Hicks Eidson.
Melissa’s presentation covered “Drafting Effective and Useful Discovery,” including discussion on requests for production, interrogatories and requests for admissions. She co-presented with Laura Noyes, a Shareholder at Kass Shuler.
