Seasoned Trial Attorney Rob Blank Achieves Recertification in Civil Trial Law

TAMPA, Fla., November 2, 2022 — Rob Blank, a partner in the Tampa office of RumbergerKirk, has successfully achieved recertification as a civil trial law advocate from the National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA). The NBTA serves as an organization designed specifically to create an objective set of standards illustrating an attorney’s experience and expertise in the practice of trial law.

All NBTA board certified attorneys must complete a screening process that includes: demonstration of substantial trial experience, submission of judicial and peer references to attest to their competency, attendance of continuing legal education courses and proof of good standing.

Mr. Blank  is part of a growing number of trial attorneys that have illustrated their commitment to bettering the legal profession by successfully completing a rigorous application process and providing the consumer of legal services with an objective measure by which to choose qualified and experienced legal counsel.

Mr. Blank concentrates his practice in the defense of product liability and casualty cases. He defends a wide variety of manufacturers against claims of alleged product defect resulting in catastrophic injury and/or wrongful death. He also defends theme parks, water parks, trucking companies, beverage companies, retailers and other businesses against various tort claims. His extensive trial experience includes more than 45 trials over the past 30 years.

Board Certification is the highest, most stringent, and most reliable honor an attorney can achieve. Approximately three percent of American lawyers are board certified, and Mr. Blank is a member of a very select group who has taken the time to prove competence in their specialty area and earn board certification.
