Managing Partner Frank Sheppard shared these thoughts on the 30th anniversary of the Tampa office.

Thirty years ago on August 30, the firm opened its Tampa office under the leadership of founding partner, Dick Caldwell.  Dick, who had always liked the Tampa Bay area, had the vision that Tampa presented a market in which the firm could grow and prosper.  Thirty years later, Dick’s vision has proven correct. Dick’s scholarship, legal acumen and professionalism set the bar for the Tampa office and the entire firm.

A year after the firm opened the Tampa office, we hired an enthusiastic young graduate from Stetson Law School by the name of Rob Blank.  Under Dick Caldwell’s tutelage, Rob grew into a phenomenal trial lawyer and as Dick Caldwell slowed down, Rob Blank took over the management of the office.  We are very proud of our close knit and extremely hard-working Tampa office.  Thirty years later, they carry on the tradition of excellence, professionalism and teamwork that is the legacy of our founding partners.
