Carie Hall and Meredith Lees Appointed Administrative Partners of RumbergerKirk Tampa and Birmingham Offices

Three of Five RumbergerKirk Offices Now Led By Female Attorneys

TAMPA, Fla., and BIRMINGHAM, Ala., March 20, 2024 – RumbergerKirk is pleased to announce that attorneys Carie Hall and Meredith Lees have been appointed to administrative partners, bringing the total number of women administrative partners to three of the five RumbergerKirk offices. Hall will be the administrative partner of the Tampa office, and Lees will be the administrative partner in Birmingham. In these roles, they will oversee their respective offices, which includes managing the local attorneys and staff, responding to employee concerns and ensuring the efficient operation of the office.

Carie Hall has more than 25 years of litigation experience with RumbergerKirk, having worked for the firm as a legal assistant while attending law school. Prior to that, she held a variety of roles with the firm, from receptionist and runner to file clerk and paralegal. She was elected partner in 2020.

Hall focuses her practice in the areas of casualty and product liability litigation. In her casualty practice, she defends clients against premises liability, auto negligence and other tort claims. Her product liability practice includes defending manufacturers and distributors of consumer products. Hall earned her law degree, cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law, a Bachelor of Arts in political science, magna cum laude, from the University of South Florida and her Associate of Science in paralegal studies, magna cum laude, from Tampa College.

Meredith Lees, Administrative Partner in Birmingham

Meredith Lees has more than 20 years of commercial litigation practice and has been a partner with RumbergerKirk in the Birmingham office for 12 years.

Lees focuses her practice on commercial litigation, with extensive experience in securities and financial litigation. She represents broker-dealers, including clearing brokers, in state and federal court and FINRA arbitration in a wide variety of disputes, including customer claims, raiding claims, violations of non-competition agreements, employment disputes, member-to-member claims, fraud claims, suitability claims, churning claims and trust-related claims. Lees earned her law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Alabama School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in public relations from the University of Alabama.
