Richard Greenberg Elected President of Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers

Richard A. Greenberg of RumbergerKirk’s Tallahassee office was sworn in as president of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (FACDL) at the association’s annual meeting in Miami Beach.

A member of FACDL for approximately 28 years, Greenberg has served as a chapter representative for the Tallahassee chapter and as an at-large board member. He was awarded the President’s Award in 2005 and in 2012. He has written a number of articles for the association’s Defender magazine and has presented on the topic of ethics at FACDL’s Criminal Law Certification Review Course.

“My goals for the coming year are to work to defeat the constitutional revisions proposed by the highly politicized Constitutional Revision Commission, to increase the diversity and size of our membership, and to educate the public about the importance of defending the rights set forth by the authors of the U.S. Constitution, ” said Greenberg.

FACDL is a not-for-profit corporation formed exclusively scientific and educational purposes, and affiliated with the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. For more information visit, www.facdl.org.
