TAMPA, FL – Robert L. Blank, a partner with the Tampa office of RumbergerKirk, P.A., has received Board Certification in Civil Trial by The Florida Bar. 

Board certification recognizes a lawyer’s special knowledge, skills and proficiency, as well as a reputation for professionalism and ethics in practice. The Supreme Court of Florida established Florida’s board certification program in 1982 to enable consumers to identify attorneys who are qualified specialists.  A lawyer who is board certified by The Florida Bar has demonstrated ability and experience in his field and professionalism within the legal community.  It is the highest level of evaluation by The Florida Bar of competency, experience, professionalism and ethics within an area of law. 

Blank is engaged in civil trial and appellate practice, concentrating in the defense of product liability, casualty defense, employment, professional liability and commercial litigation. In his product liability practice, Rob represents manufacturers of automobiles, industrial machinery and power tools, among others. In his casualty practice he defends theme parks, retail clients, schools, trucking companies and other businesses for various tort claims. Other aspects of Rob’s practice include commercial litigation, defending employers against claims of discrimination and representing professionals against claims of negligence and malpractice.

Blank received his law degree, magna cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law in 1992.
