ORLANDO, FL – RumbergerKirk is proud to announce that attorneys Candy Messersmith and Sally Murray have been named partner.

Murray practices in the areas of product liability, insurance coverage and bad faith, employment, and commercial litigation. Her clients include large, multinational manufacturers and insurance companies, public entities, and smaller, local businesses. In Murray’s diverse practice, she has defended manufacturers against product liability claims in the automotive, tire, pharmaceutical and electronics industries, while also assisting insurance industry clients in matters involving coverage and bad faith claims. She also represents employers facing employment-related claims, and enjoys providing training and guidance to employers so that employment-related claims can be minimized.

Messersmith focuses her practice in the areas of insurance coverage and bad faith. Messersmith also handles appellate matters as part of her practice, as well as the defense of casualty claims.

Before joining the firm in 2000, Murray spent four years in a practice devoted to commercial litigation matters. Messersmith joined the firm in 2001 after clerking for Chief Justice Charles Wells of the Florida Supreme Court.
