Rumberger Sends Holiday Care Packages to Overseas Troops
Spectrum News 13 visited RumbergerKirk to capture the packing of Christmas care packages for active military units in Afghanistan, Kuwait, Island of Diego Garcia, United Arab Emirates, Israel and U.S.S. Shilo in the Pacific.
Each quarter, the firm collects daily necessities such as socks, toothpaste, razors and shaving cream along with special treats and food to send to soldiers serving overseas. The next troop shipment is planned for early February so that the boxes will arrive in time for Valentine’s Day.
