Seasoned trial attorney Douglas Ede returns to RumbergerKirk in Miami as partner. Ede, who worked for Rumberger 20 years ago, brings extensive commercial transactional and litigation experience to the firm. He represents clients in a wide variety of commercial transactions including buying and selling businesses, start-ups and business entity formation, business development, contract negotiations and mergers and acquisitions. He also represents his clients in all dispute resolution including lawsuit, arbitrations and administrative proceedings.

Ede also has extensive commercial litigation experience and brings with him a robust mediation practice.

Ede earned his Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University. He is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida and in the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Ede earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Florida State University’s School of Business and holds a Master of Business Administration from Barry University.
