ORLANDO, Fla. — RumbergerKirk is pleased to announce that Stacey Schwartz Perez has joined the firm as a partner in its Orlando office.

Perez is a Florida Bar Board Certified Elder Law Attorney who advises individuals and families on estate planning, elder law, probate administration, trust administration, guardianship, special needs planning and long-term care planning. She works with clients through all stages of life, helping them develop plans that reflect their goals, protect their families and evolve as circumstances change.

“Stacey has built an exceptional reputation in Central Florida for the care, knowledge and practical guidance she provides to individuals and families,” said RumbergerKirk Managing Partner Frank Sheppard. “Her approach to client service and commitment to building lasting relationships are a natural fit for our firm, and we are very pleased to welcome her to our Orlando team.”

Perez counsels clients ranging from young adults creating their first estate plans to families navigating probate and trust administration and retirees preparing for incapacity and long-term care needs. Her practice also includes special needs planning and guardianship matters. She approaches estate planning as an ongoing relationship, working with clients as their families, financial circumstances and planning needs evolve.

Before joining RumbergerKirk, Perez spent nearly eight years with a prominent elder law firm serving Winter Park and the broader Central Florida community. During that time, she developed extensive experience in estate planning, elder law, probate, trust administration, guardianship and long-term care planning while building relationships with individuals, families and professional advisors throughout the region.

Perez is active in the Central Florida legal and professional communities and regularly presents on elder law, estate planning, probate, trust administration, guardianship and long-term care planning. She is a member of the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Orange County Bar Association and The Florida Bar’s Elder Law and Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Sections. She also has held leadership roles with the Orange County Bar Association’s Estate, Guardianship and Trusts Committee.

Perez earned her J.D. from Barry University School of Law, where she served as Research and Technical Editor of the Barry Law Review, and her undergraduate degree in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida.
