Two Rumberger Attorneys Named to Eleventh Judicial Circuit Committee’s Professionalism Panels

Panels Play Critical Roles in Cultivating Professional Conduct in the Legal Community

MIAMI – July 17, 2014 – RumbergerKirk is pleased to announce that the following attorneys have been selected to serve on the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Committee’s Professionalism Panels: Joshua D. Lerner and Myron Shapiro.  The panel members are charged with receiving, screening, and acting upon complaints of unprofessional conduct by attorneys practicing within the Circuit.

“These panels will play an integral role in advancing the overall objective of improving professionalism in the Miami-Dade County legal community by providing an informal, educational process to resolve professionalism complaints,” said Judge Andrea Wolfson, Co-Chair of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Committee.

The members will serve on two separate panels consisting of three members each on a rotating quarterly basis for two years beginning September 1.

“We are humbled that two of our attorneys were selected for this important duty,” said Scott Sarason. “These appointments support our firm’s vigorous efforts to encourage professionalism and civility among our own attorneys and staff.”
