The Daily Business Review reported that Orlando’s Sea World amusement park prevailed in a lawsuit filed by a patron who claimed that she suffered brain and spine injuries in a fall at the park in an article on December 7, 2021.

Representing SeaWorld on defense were RumbergerKirk lawyers Robert Blank, Carie Hall and Rachael Kratz in Tampa.

On July 20, 2018, plaintiff Susan Davis, 33, a baker, fell while she was visiting the shark exhibit at the Sea World amusement park in Orlando. She claimed that she suffered injuries of her back, her head, her neck and a shoulder.

The jury rendered a defense verdict. It found that Sea World of Florida was not liable for the accident. Sea World has moved for recovery of fees and costs.
