RumbergerKirk Welcomes Brennan C. Ohme to Birmingham Office
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — RumbergerKirk is pleased to announce that Brennan C. Ohme has joined the firm as a partner in its Birmingham office.
Ohme is an experienced civil litigator with more than 30 years of experience representing businesses, insurers and individuals in state and federal courts throughout Alabama. His practice encompasses a broad range of civil matters, with particular emphasis on insurance coverage and bad faith, casualty litigation, premises liability, automobile litigation, commercial disputes and appellate matters.

Ohme represents insurers in matters involving commercial and personal lines of insurance, including coverage disputes and claims alleging bad faith, fraud and other extra-contractual liability. He also defends businesses and other clients in personal injury, premises liability, motor vehicle accident, property damage and other general liability matters. His industry experience includes work with clients in the insurance, retail, restaurant and hospitality sectors.
In addition to his trial court practice, Ohme has significant appellate experience and has represented clients before Alabama appellate courts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Prior to entering private practice, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Sharon Yates of the Alabama Court of Civil Appeals.
Ohme is active in the Birmingham community and serves on the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of Alabama. He is also a member of the Alabama State Bar, Birmingham Bar Association, Alabama Defense Lawyers Association and Claims and Litigation Management Alliance.
He earned his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law and has been admitted to practice in Alabama since 1995.
