First Depositions, First Projects, First Impressions

Week 1

My first week at RumbergerKirk was busy but exhilarating! To kick things off, all the summer associates got together in person for the first two days, which included valuable training sessions and introductions where we got to know each other. It was such a great way to start building connections with my fellow summer associates before diving into our work.

Next, I had the incredible opportunity to attend my first two depositions, which proved to be a great learning experience. Watching the attorneys in action was truly inspiring, they were professional in their approach and incredibly knowledgeable. I found myself learning a lot just by observing their strategies and techniques.

I also got the chance to settle into my office and work on my first few projects, which was exciting to put my training to work and contribute to the firm.

Lastly, I had the pleasure of getting to know my mentor, Hannah. She, along with all the other associates, have been incredibly welcoming and given me great advice, it really speaks to the positive culture here at Rumberger.

Overall, it was an amazing first week, and I could not be more excited to soak up everything I can over the remaining nine weeks ahead!
